    According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, the Patriots recently settled compensation grievances with both Antonio Brown and Aaron Hernandez. The Patriots will receive $4 million from the Brown settlement and $2.55 million from the Hernandez settlement. Reiss reported the Patriots cap space now sits at $7.79 million.     You’ll never be able to say the Patriots are boring. The Patriots shocked the world Sunday night when they signed Cam Newton to a one-year deal worth up to $7.5 million.     Patrick Chung Signed Through 2023

    The New England Patriots are loaded in the secondary, and they intend to keep it that way for the foreseeable future. Earlier this morning, Patrick Chung signed a two-year contract extension with the Patriots. The contract will take Chung through the 2023 season.
