Final 2022 First Round NFL Mock Draft

After endless rumors, speculation, hype, and enough mock drafts to make your head spin, the 2022 NFL Draft is finally here. With that in mind, let’s keep this short and simple: This final mock draft is what I think will happen, not what I think teams should do. I won’t be projecting trades. Instead, I will be matching teams with the players I think they will end up with, whether it’s through their original selection or via a traded pick.

Without further ado, I present to you my final 2022 NFL mock draft.

Trading back would likely be the Patriots’ preference, but it’s unclear whether or not a market will develop for pick 21. Trade back or no trade back, Quay Walker will be a Patriots draft target. He has tremendous size and great speed. Additionally, he’s an elite tackler and can cover too. Walker is a modern-day three-down linebacker, which is exactly what the Patriots need to add to their defense.
